Accuracy

[edit]

This story is a favourite of mine, but it sounds too good to be true. What do modern scholars think?

Portrait caption wrong?

[edit]

The caption in the portrait seems wrong to me. If Galla Placidia was the mother of the two, shouldn't she be the oldest woman, at the middle? FilipeS 00:35, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Mathisen squib contains no more information than this article itself (well, one 1990's paper; the Salis paper is cited in footnote 8 of Bury); the Bury article, on the other hand, is the source of it, and about as complete as anyone can get in view of how little is known about her. Copied from CNN.com?

[edit]

The article was edited recently with nigh-direct quotes from [this article]. It is not cited, and the quotes are very similar. Additionally, these quotes (like the article they were copied from) are intensely sensationalistic and not at all objective. Would someone with a better grasp of the history than I have please fix this? Kaesa 06:37, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely correct on all counts; I have tried to address these issues with a rewrite. 66.140.73.111 (talk) 19:46, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Too bad it still doesn't read at all like a Wikipedia article. 2A01:C22:AC06:4700:40C0:AD1A:741F:BAD4 (talk) 01:22, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How many wives did the Visigoth King have?

[edit]

Interesting, but where one places the sister of Attila who was a wife of Visigoth King who had her poisoned. This episode, and the revenge his sister´s murder in his mind caused Attila to attack to Rhein and the Plains of Catalaynian which happened in 451. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.113.116.165 (talk) 15:20, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the writing style is atrocious. you start a paragraph with 'some historians think', that's not how we roll. Who did the supervision for this edu assignment? 2A01:C22:AC06:4700:40C0:AD1A:741F:BAD4 (talk) 01:26, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have gone through some of the sections for grammar and style. I tried to ensure that they maintain a neutral tone, adding sources for specific historians who have expressed similar ideas to what was present in the article. PercyTheSecond (talk) 00:36, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

New edits

[edit]

I added much more to this article to make it more about Honoria. I did this by further researching her scandals and adding more information, as well as adding context about other Roman Imperial Women and the Fall of the Roman Empire Jpbrod1 (talk) 20:28, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
