What the heck does 28 and 22/50 squared mean? Is there some mathematical significance I'm missing?

First of all, note that he's saying that "DJ CPU" has that formula. DJ CPU was simply the name he gave to his drum machine at the time (more for the sake of the lyrics in that song than anything else). If you work out the formula as $[28+({\frac {22}{50}})]^{2}$, it works out to 808.8336. Follow the rest of the lyrics, he says "just a little bitty bit more than the beat...", and 808.8336 is in fact "just a little bitty bit more than" 808. I'm guessing that while writing the song he calculated the square root of 808 and then worked out a way to turn it into a decent rap lyrics... which he did, obviously. - Ugliness Man 12:47, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Cleaned up, could still use some help

In honor of the Nerdcore Rising disc, I did some clean up on the Front entry. Expanded some stuff, reorganized some stuff.

It still needs some help because I are not smart always. I "previewed" it and still didn't catch basic clerical errors. Eugh. Anyway, have at it. I'm on my way to do the Nerdcore Rising CD article now.

Cleanup and talk

A lot of articles about celebs have sections regarding the celeb's personal life. Could someone add something along those lines to this?

Thematically Appropriate

I'm also a big fan of MC Frontalot. I have to say that when I saw the text "this article or section may contain original research or unverified claims" at the top of the entry, I burst into laughter. If you know anything about the Front, you'll have to admit that such an accusation is well in keeping with everything he stands for. MC Frontalot is all about unverified claims. It's what he does, from his spurious boasts of criminal activity to his "thousands of uncleared samples." I know that this is an encyclopedia and should therefore be as accurate and well-cited as possible, but please don't ever take that heading down.

Age

Frontalot's website, although randomly changing his name, consistently lists his birth year at 1973. Also, his MySpace page lists his age at 33. Is this mere fronting, or is the bio on this page wrong?

I've found a February 2007 Newsweek article listing his age as 33, which corresponds with his MySpace page. Additionally, his MySpace page lists him as a Sagittarius, supporting the IMDB which currently states the 6th of December as his birthdate. I've replaced the old birthdate with this one for the above reasons, knowing full-well that IMDB should not be trusted as a source of information anymore than Wikipedia should, but it's a plausible date until we can get confirmation. – Quoth 00:43, 11 February 2007 (UTC)

LiveJournal

There was a time when the LiveJournal account "frontalot" was indeed being used by MC Frontalot. He the user info simply said "the Front does not blog", and he never made any entries, but he did sometimes use the account to make comments on other people's entries. For example, if an mp3 community made any of his non-free music available, he'd post a polite note asking that it be removed and perhaps replaced with some of his free material.

Then at one point there was an entry made saying that he (or whoever was typing at the time) was going to start using the account. Now there are entries being made occasionally, which seem to be written from the perspective of someone in the US military. One might think that they're fictional blog entries as some sort of creative writing project, but people have responded to these entries, not just as people responding to the writing, but in some cases responding as if the things he's describing actually happened to him, and the people responding are aware of these things... and they're calling him "Sean". Does anyone know what's going on here? Did he give the username to someone else? Is he messing with our heads by taking on a new persona and having people play along? Is he actually in the military between shows? I once posted a comment to one of the entries asking what's going on, but he doesn't seem to respond to comments. Emerald Rain Productions & Zombies in Love

Front fronting as Damien fronting as Frontalot fronting as Damien Hess (sorry...) was part of Emerald Rain Productions in CA. He wrote a rock musical "Young Zombies in Love" in which Jess Klein (with whom he later performs Soda Water) played the lead character. Gaby (a frequent Frontalot collaborator) also took part. There's a bio of Damien (complete with pic) accessible at ERP's site. As the site uses frames, I'll direct link it here: www.emeraldrain.com/folk/hess.html. We should snarf information from that bio for inclusion in the article. This also means that parts of the article should be tweaked to reflect the fact that he's not "just" a rapper. Atheist

MC Frontalot performing in April 2007.

I don't know much about Nerdcore (it doesn't seem like it's a popular subject), but the infobox image is from 2004. I think we should use a more recent one, like the one I have here. This one is from 2007, 3 year after the infobox image was taken. This image sohuld replace the infobox one, and the current infobox one could be used somewhere in the page, like at the bottom.
