Help needed - the subject of this newly started article is an early 20th C avant garde Japanese art collective/movement MAVO, (aka Mavo). When searching MAVO on Wikipedia it redirects to an obscure Dutch educational track that has no citations, here. It would be appreciated if someone from the Visual Arts Wiki Project could help decouple this, or guide me through the process. The name of the newly created page should really be MAVO, not MAVO art. Thank You in advance. Netherzone (talk) 17:00, 14 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for creating this page. It was much needed. For the time being, I have turned the page Mavo, which did redirect to the Dutch page, into a disambiguation page that lists MAVO art and that Dutch page. If you think that the Japanese art movement should be the primary topic (and I would support that opinion)--and thus that the page Mavo should be the page for the Japanese art movement--then I would suggest turning the current Mavo page into a disambiguation page with the new title: Mavo (disambiguation). Mavo would then become a redirect to that page. Then you would need an administrator to do a page move of MAVO art to Mavo. That can be requested at WP:RM. See WP:DAB and WP:MOR for more information on this. Michitaro (talk) 20:22, 21 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
