Edit request from Metallurgist, 24 September 2011

[edit]

#REDIRECT [[Mumia Abu-Jamal]] is what it should redirect to. Most people looking up "Mumia" are searching for him. Ive never even heard the other term before. His page could have {{for|the substance used to embalm mummies|mummia}} if really necessary.

This was changed on 1 August. As it was not discussed (as far as I can tell) I am happy to revert the change per WP:BRD. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 07:30, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

The lemma Mumia must be a disambiguation referring to:

  • Mummia a substance used in the embalming of mummies, or a powder made from ground mummies, used as a medical preparation
  • Mumia Abu-Jamal a convicted murder

--Bullenwächter (talk) 20:08, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with Bullenwächter, since there is a convicted murderer by the surname of Mumia and "mumia" is a common mispelling for Mummia, a disambiguation seems to be the best do do with this situation.

Actually I added "For the mid evil substance used for medicine orto preserve bodies, see Mumia. This way seemed the easiest to do. --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 14:32, 7 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
