Why are all people in this article referred to by French names? He's Nikolaus von Leuchtenberg or if anglicized Nicholas of Leuchtenberg, but Nicolas de Leuchtenberg makes no sense in an English language article. 80.60.80.173 (talk) 06:57, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citation urgently required

[edit]

The only source quoted by this article - web.genealogie.free.fr - does not actually exist. This article, therefore, has no citations or references. Searching around, the only sources I can find consistantly state that the Dukedom went extinct in 1974 upon the death of the 8th Duke. It being suggested that the 4th Duke did have issue from a morganatic marriage, but as Morganauts such descendants would be legally unable to claim the original German title. No one actually appears to have used the ducal title suince 1974. The only property they had was confiscated in the Russian Revolution, so what is it that this person is supposed to have inherited? This whole article seems very, very questionable. Citations urgently requested. Indisciplined (talk) 17:11, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
