Rasp

[edit]

Reverted edit stating that a nutmeg grater is also called a rasp, but now reconsidering. It is true that a nutmeg grater is generally a kind of rasp, and some g-hits pop up for "nutmeg" + "rasp". I'll try to incorporate without implying that a nutmeg grater is widely known as a rasp, which term actually encompasses a much larger definition. Richigi (talk) 04:53, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I did what I should've done in the first place and just changed "rasp" to "nutmeg rasp", which is what the anon editor intended, I'm sure. Sometimes I act hastily, sorry if I stepped on a toe. Richigi (talk) 05:03, 28 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Removed final statement.

[edit]

I've removed the statement, "Any grater capable of fine grating, such as a microplane, can be used to grate nutmeg." It isn't sourced for one thing but even if it were it's like saying one can use any sort toothbrush, such as an Oral B to clean one's teeth. It's not informative, opinionated, and can be viewed as promoting a brand name. Thus it's not really very encyclopedic. SentientParadox (talk) 20:17, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
