Airport(s) in this region
[edit]http://www.airfields-freeman.com/MD/Airfields_MD_Balt_NW.htm has several maps that place Handler Field, with service to New York, a bit out into Baltimore County. It was on Park Heights Ave, but the cluster of neighborhoods that is the subject of this article are instead below the City Line. Instead, that ref says a different one, City Line Airport, was in the Park Heights Ave/Reisterstown Rd/Seven Mile Ln area. I don't currently have access to the cited The Sun ref to see what it actually says. DMacks (talk) 14:33, 28 February 2017 (UTC)
- I've just accessed the cited Sun article (in the ProQuest Historical Newspapers collection) and it does in fact say that Handler Field is "in the same neighborhood on Park Heights avenue" as another "new airport on Park Heights and Green Spring avenues" for which clearing and grading was currently in progress.
