Perga sp. larva
With almost 450 described species, Pergidae (Perga sp. larva pictured) is the third-largest family of sawflies. The majority of Pergidae species occur in South America and Australia. They are the dominant family in Australia and are one of the major families in the Neotropics.Photo: JJ Harrison
