MISSING: no mention of the plaza as site of execution during the Roman Inquisition.
[edit]At least one historically notable execution was carried out, and countless more. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomponio_Algerio Algeria was boiled in oil at the plaza. People lay flowers for me there still. Comment by: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Matt_Bianco — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matt Bianco (talk • contribs) 16:01, 24 November 2016 (UTC)

References to celebrations for the Befana on January the 6th
[edit]Hallo, I think some reference to the Befana should be added, Piazza NAvona is the heart of celebrations held for the Epifania, and every year a lot of events are organize to celebrate this important figure of the Roman/Italian folklore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.25.193.213 (talk) 11:51, 17 January 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Why does the link for Fontana del Moro redirects you to the same page? Frustrating! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.204.2.12 (talk) 19:53, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
I agree. I'll get rid of it. --Uwaisis (talk) 21:41, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Hi. I changed the captions of two photos. They referred to the 'Fontana del Moro', while showing the Fontana del Nettuno. Still, one of the photos is actually called Fontana del Moro. I hope it can be changed, to avoid confusion. For check, go to http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fontana_del_Nettuno_(Navona) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.92.126.164 (talk) 14:26, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
