Notability
[edit]This article was created after a discussion at Wikipedia_talk:SHIPS#Tugs_and_Coasters. The notability is established by the fact that Empire Ace was sunk by enemy action and subsequently repaired and returned to service. Mjroots (talk) 10:43, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
SS Lagosian
[edit]Can anyone confirm whether Empire Ace was a particpant in the rescue of survivors from SS Lagosian? The BBC People's War website says that she was. The source might not pass WP:RS. Dates of sinking are given as 28 March and 28 April in various sources (mostly March). Uboat net says that Empire Denis was involved in the rescue. The Empire Ships book sheds no light on either.
