https://www.justice.gov/crt/case-document/file/949026/dl is used as a reference for Younge's BAC and golf club. However its version of events contradicts that of another given source, http://www.southerncourier.org/low-res/Vol2_No02_1966_01_08.pdf. For example, the latter source claims that Younge left the gas station after the first part of the argument to go to the police station and then went back, whereas the first source says it was all a single interaction at the gas station. The first source also claims that it was unclear whether the bathroom in question was a public restroom at all, and may have been available only to employees, which would make the whole narrative about "protesting segregation" false.
Can we resolve this somehow? Either the first source is not credible, in which case it shouldn't be cited at all, or it is credible and the article needs to be rewritten to be less favorable towards Younge. KingSupernova (talk) 09:16, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
