Major revision / editing
[edit]I completed a major revision and copy edit of the article. The types of changes include:
- Removed information about places near Seven Lakes, but not about Seven Lakes. The sources didn't mention Seven Lakes - or there was barely a mention (e.g., like: rode up the carriage road, saw Seven Lakes...)
- Removed information about other roads than those that led to Seven Lakes (i.e., if the source didn't mention Seven Lakes- or to/from another nearby place)
- Removed information said to be about Seven Lakes but the cited source didn't have the information. In some cases it seemed to be an original research leap (e.g., "old trail" taken to mean the trail to Seven Lakes)
- Removed extraneous "quote' information in citations.
- Reviewed sources and reworded content based upon what was in the source
- Found some additional information
- There also appeared to be some confusion between the Lake Moraine reservoir and Seven Lakes.

Seven Lakes-Pike's Peak Railway
[edit]- The Seven Lakes–Pike's Peak Railway Company article information was moved here, because there's already information about transportation and the Colorado Springs water supply, which shuts down access through Seven Lakes.
- This source states on the pdf page 183 of 211 that a cog railway would be required from Bear Creek (southwest Colorado Springs) to Seven Lakes... but this isn't discussed in relation to Seven Lakes-Pike's Peak Railway.--CaroleHenson (talk) 07:11, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
