[edit]Hey, this is a great start! * Maybe you can have an info box that includes a picture of the clinic when it was active and important facts and figures * Talk about why the clinic was created. What was its purpose? How was it different? And then use this to create a history/founding section
- Are there any examples of how the philosophy manifested itself? Why was this the philosophy?
- How did it revolutionize "the Western view of psychology by adopting novel models based on evolutionary principles"? This could be its own section.
* If we drop names like William Osler, it should include a small clause that describes him the first time we introduce him to the article.
- What was life in the clinic like?
- How was the clinic viewed by others? You mention its legacy, but what was its contemporary value? What was it doing differently?
- Why did it close?
- Some citations needed
* Some terms can be converted to hyperlinks just to integrate the article a bit better into Wikipedia. Not really a critique for this page, but let's make sure we hyperlink Phipps to this page on the Meyer page now that it's up. Aneekpatel (talk) 06:36, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi guys! Your page looks awesome for being completely new. A few suggestions for improving the article:
- Don't forget to fix "Medical professionals" section under "Notable faculty."
- I think changing "Notes" to "References" would be a good idea.
- You could add some more hyperlinks. For instance, when you mention Dr. William Welch, you could link it to his page. Here's a link: William H. Welch
Overall, I really enjoyed seeing your page evolve and come together nicely! Great job. Ahong11 (talk) 18:01, 29 April 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hey guys, I think your article looks really good in general, but I do have a couple of suggestions. Maybe on both the "directors" and "notable faculty" sections, you can add a sentence or two for each person, describing who they were and any important contributions to the Phipps Clinic. I also think you could possible add a "notable patients" section, if there were any interesting patients that stayed in the clinic, as well as any controversies that took place in the clinic. Other than that, I think you guys are doing a really good job!! Rschwa99 (talk) 01:27, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi guys,
You did a really nice job creating a new page. A few suggestions:
- Definitely add in an information box. (maybe like the one for Homewood House https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homewood_Museum)
- Some of the information in the two paragraphs could be moved to a "Techniques" section. I think the lead section has a little too much detail right now.
Great work starting from scratch! Jdeales1 (talk) 03:05, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Great job so far!
Here a few suggestions:
If you can, add an info box. I think you can take one from a template for a building/clinic
Add another picture if you can find one
I think the intro section is a little longer than they generally are - maybe you can add some of that information lower in the article
Besides that, just keep fleshing it out. Incredible job on starting a new article!!

[edit]This article is great considering you started from scratch. I think it is still a little short though. Maybe add a section about the clinics impact on the field of psychiatry and any major contributions it made to medicine. Also an info box on the side would be nice to give some background information about the clinic. Cstauch1 (talk) 17:47, 1 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]You guys added a lot of information to be able to start the article completely new and I think something to improve further could be adding more information about the Phipp's clinic's lasting impact on psychiatry. Apatera517 (talk) 23:42, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]This article is coming together very well! I would suggest adding an info box and maybe some more pictures. It would also be interesting if you could include some of the notable cases the Clinic had and some of the techniques they commonly used. Great job on starting a new article! [edit]As Devyn said above, I think your article has come a long ways. Structurally, I find it a little basic. I think the best way to solve this problem is add more information. Things to think about include famous patients, or infamous incidents that occurred at the clinic. Also, for the directors portion of the article, I think it would be nice to add info on some of the more important directors in the clinic's history. Again, you guys are doing great, so keep up the good work! Rserafi2(talk) 21:02, 4 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]This article looks really good! To make it longer, you could go into further detail about the operation of the cliic itself- what kind of schedule did the clinic run on? How was the clinic organized? What therapeutics were used? Also, there was a small bit of repetition in the "founding" section. Some of that information was already in the introduction. Great work! [edit]It is remarkable how much this article has progressed since the beginning of the assignment. I think more information on what the Phipps clinic has done to contribute to future medical practices is something that people will find useful. Other than that, just some more information would be helpful.Shackstanwick (talk) 16:33, 6 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]This article looks great! You guys did a crazy job of bringing it up out of nothing. I hope you got the pictures I sent! I recommend making a photo album at the bottom of the article that includes all of these photos; I know if I were looking up the Phipps clinic it would be pretty cool to all of the facilities and wards. Perhaps you could also include a section talking about life in the clinic. Separate from "Operations" it could include information like daily schedules, reports, and patient accounts if that information exists. Again, you guys did an amazing job! [edit]Great job!! It looks great! Aside from any expansion, the only suggestions I have are to add more links later in the article, where it is appropriate. Also to alphabetize the lists of people would be more useful in navigating the page. Sdoman1 (talk) 21:38, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]This article has come a long way! I love the pictures. One suggestion I have is to possibly expand on the key directors/faculty a little bit. Also it would be interesting to add a section on the patients at the clinic! Good job! Cduke15 (talk) 03:11, 8 May 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Starting from scratch, you have done a terrific job creating this entire page. My suggestion is to just keep plugging away and continue to add details that you seem fitting as well as continue maintaining a solid amount of external links and people who have contributed to the Phipps Clinic.Jtino55 (talk) 03:23, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
