Please define this Elkton Road
[edit]I found "US 40 was originally built as a state highway during the 1920s, comprising Elkton Road and a part of the Dupont Highway." Later on, in the history, I find "When the U.S. Highway System was created in 1926, US 40 was designated to pass through Delaware along Elkton Road (Pulaski Highway) between the Maryland border and State Road". I'm too young to ever remember US 40 in Delaware being on Elkton Road; the only Elkton Road I know of runs NE from Elkton (MD) toward downtown Newark (DE). I only know US 40 in that area as Pulaski Highway, passing some miles to the south of downtown Newark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.63.16.82 (talk) 15:26, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

- Consistency between U.S. and US.
- Everything else looks good to me. Well written and sourced. Great work!
- I have made all the abbreviations to US except for the "U.S. Route 40" in the lead as that would violate WP:USSH. Dough4872 02:15, 12 July 2012 (UTC)
