@Mchmay: For years, this page has referred to the character using both her "old" name and gender and her "final" name and gender. The listed sources have done the same.
There is a difference between a living person - or even a deceased one - who might not want to be "dead named," but with fictional characters it's a bit different. Sometimes the fact that the person is not who she used to be - at least on the outside - is important enough to be considered encyclopedic. That, and - more importantly - the fact that the references used the former name and gender where necessary, strongly favor keeping this page the way it was, at least until there is a discussion and consensus to do otherwise. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:35, 14 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
