Leaving me wondering shouldn't it be wait (unix command)? After all, Windows doesn't have it, and like it or not most systems out there are Windows... Number774 (talk) 10:58, 12 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article treats of Unix, but with this title one could add the OpenOffice.org Basic wait command too. That's why I'm in favor of the renaming to wait (Unix), like some other commands. JackPotte (talk) 21:57, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

that's an awfully general statement. Is this article about the shell command built in to certain shell's or trying to somehow be more general?
