Controversy
[edit]This page is full of legal troubles and controversy Scantlin has been involved in. While the content is supported in reliable sources, the list is excessive and WP:UNDUE. I've began trimming the insignificant incidents but would appreciate some help on cutting out the unnecessary stuff. Meatsgains (talk) 23:41, 29 August 2016 (UTC)

[edit]This article is not fair to Wes. He has had trouble and hasn't had any fame outside of that. It's not like Jason Wade or Brent Smith where they have had solo careers or worked with other bands... I want it gone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MisterBurgers (talk • contribs) 23:42, 6 March 2022 (UTC)

Thanks. I looked it up and it's too much effort. I suspect it will stay. The guy has a weird history.MisterBurgers (talk) 00:52, 7 March 2022 (UTC)
Wes Scantlin meets Jim Morrison Jr / Bullet Head
[edit]Ok first and foremost Puddle of Mudd should be titled “Quicksand” , is that not what a puddle of mud is in actuality Wes? I’ll answer for you , Yes , Wes a puddle of mudd is quicksand. And yes , Wes it is a real thing ok. Quicksand does really suck you up in its puddle of mudd ok? And Yes , Wes you have been up to your neck in “Quicksand” at times. Am I correct Wes? Again I’ll answer for you . Yes , Wes you have been more then once! This does not make you a bad person though it just makes you a true to life frontman. Ok hey man now Wes I do realize the day we met at The Rainbow Room back in 2014 I believe it was or close anyhoe. Well Wes you took me by surprise also you got me thrown out of the bar actually you got us both tossed out ! And to think I had just flown in to LA from Philadelphia and Wes I haven’t been in the Rainbow for 5 years prior because I need to let things calm down & low and behold I see this person walk in wearing a tan trench coat over a hoodie for which they had up over their head. Big giant dark ad night sunglasses. Now it’s 12pm perfect time to be in The Rianbow drinking. No one there but usually Me, Lemmy, Michael , Mario , the wife etc. So anyhoe this person sits down right in Lemmy’s seat in front of the machine thing he always played. And I’m like ,”Is this Mother F-er staring at me? Now I just flew in from Philadelphia so I’m slightly nerved bu this person of hiding ! I’m like are they gonna flash me or what? So I say “ What are you a Hit Man”? Their response “ I could be!” So I immediately say to myself no your not! I’m like “Do you need money?” Their like “ No I have that “! Ok so I’m like ok what’s your get down then yah catch my drift? So as he reviewed to me later his name . Wes says “ Bullet tell Cynthia to get you and your friend a two Stella’s! And the rest is history that i will surly keep you up on! Just want to get the intro to Puddle Of Mudd’s , Frontman Wes Scantlin out to you ! So everyone knows I’m talking from experience and know how! For the record I did not yet at this time tell Wes I was Jim Morrison Jr just Bullet Head! Bulletheadla (talk) 23:49, 6 May 2022 (UTC)
