It would be worthwhile to add a list of the company's steam locomotives. LHOON 15:11, 4 July 2006 (UTC) Also the country, as it is not identified in the introduction SatuSuro 13:06, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
"The Jacobite is the only scheduled steam operated service on the National Rail network."
[edit]Why doesn't the Shakespeare Express (Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon) count? It has a public timetable and runs every Sunday for two months; I'd say that was scheduled! 86.143.52.241 23:39, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Incorrect external links
[edit]The second link to West Coast Railway Company website points at a dead web site.
The link Information on "The Jacobite" probably needs to point to http://www.westcoastrailways.co.uk/jacobite/jacobite-steam-train-details.cfm

http://www.uksteam.info as a source
[edit]User:Moylesy98 Using http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t18/t0413p.htm as a source in this edit [1] seems problematic as the website does not appear to have sufficient fact checking to be reliable. The source page refers to Friday 13 April 2017, which day did not exist, but could be a typo for 2018. A page linked [2] to the one used as a reference simultaneously gives 'movements over Network Rail lines during 2016' and 'MAINLINE STEAM LOCO MOVEMENTS 2018' when referring to the same info. The site does say it 'is not guaranteed accurate!' and given the problems noted perhaps should not be used as a source for dates. Comments please.SovalValtos (talk) 02:50, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

Updated Diesel List
[edit]The list for diesel locomotives has been updated and select diesel locos have been scrapped so we're removed from the page but re-added despite evidence. https://www.raillog.co.uk/locomotive-fleet-data-menu 77.103.154.52 (talk) 21:43, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- I've left a message on your talk page specifically about this - the changes were unsourced, and the link above is dead. If there's a reliable source, feel free to add it. Danners430 (talk) 21:44, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
- For info, I have made substantial changes to what you posted - including copyediting sentences lifted directly from the sources. I've also expanded the sources used, albeig removing unreliable ones. Danners430 (talk) 23:02, 3 August 2023 (UTC)
45110 sold
[edit]While an official announcement hasn't yet been made regarding 45110's sale on who's bought the engine. Witness's have seen 45110 on a low loader in Lancashire aswell as in Carnforth. Photographic proof has been made showing the engine on the back of a low loader underneath a cover and if this photo is uploaded to wiki could this count as genuine info. The owner of the photo will be mentioned too. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=612246121026534&set=a.415517650699383 77.103.154.52 (talk) 14:02, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
- No - a photo is WP:UGC, not a reliable source. Danners430 (talk) 14:46, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
