The article began by saying: "The Yazoo River is a river in the U.S. state of Mississippi and the second longest tributary of the Mississippi River that flows into that river from the east (the longest is the Ohio River)."
The Yazoo is 188 miles long, but the Rock River (Illinois) is 285 miles long and the Illinois River is 273 miles long, just to name the first two that popped into my head. So I removed the superlative claim. Pfly 04:13, 14 December 2006 (UTC)
Somebody should add the industries and businesses for the Yazoo River. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.241.68.92 (talk) 21:33, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Location
[edit]I find no evidence that the Yazoo River is partly in the State of Louisiana but it appears to be entirely in the State of Mississippi. 2601:645:C580:3010:19CF:31BB:2072:33B8 (talk) 06:44, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
Confusing
[edit]The map isn't very clear. And, the article description says "the southern boundary," but I'm not sure what that means as the river runs north to south. 137.188.108.203 (talk) 05:13, 28 August 2023 (UTC)
