Looks like there was a little dispute about the subject's name; we were contacted by a COI editor in OTRS ticket:2020030910004945. I have reviewed additional sources to support the other spelling and this doesn't appear to be controversial. Lugnuts's prior move revert was certainly justified given the COI; I've found several sources with conflicting spellings, but have no reason to doubt the validity of the COI requester - added at least one of them to the article. If anyone has a very reliable source for the 1952 Israel Olympics teams that would be better. — xaosflux Talk 17:14, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Xaosflux: thanks for this. I did discuss this several times with the user in question, but they offered no reply (that I could see). Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:19, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note Lugnuts - your reversion was fine, was searching for more RS's and it only made things worse :) - Here is yet another spelling, "Zcharia" from olympic.org. So this is certainly far from consistent. — xaosflux Talk 17:20, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Mercy! And learn Hebrew was item #38 on today's daily goal list too. :D Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:17, 9 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Here's how you spell it in Hebrew: זכריה עופרי I will put that on the page; Actually, when I search in Hebrew, I get a few web pages (unfortunately I can't read them!!) https://he.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D7%96%D7%9B%D7%A8%D7%99%D7%94_%D7%A2%D7%95%D7%A4%D7%A8%D7%99

But I can see that these are obituaries, which would validate some of the information. https://sports.walla.co.il/item/3141628 https://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-5157344,00.html
