Konggu lan was serialized in the newspaper’s literary column between April 1910 and January 1911. It was translated from the Japanese version entitled No no hana 野の花 (Huang 157-158) ... Translated by Kuroiwa Ruikō 黑岩淚香 (1862–1920) from the Victorian novel A Woman’s Error (by Charlotte Mary Brame), No no hana was serialized in the Tokyo tabloid newspaper Yorozu Chōhō 萬朝報 in 1900 and was published in book form by the Tokyo publishing house Fusōdō 扶桑堂 in 1909. (Huang 160)"
