Template:Rfd-notice
RfD nomination of {{{1}}}
An editor has requested deletion of [[:{{{1}}}]], a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the page meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at [[Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/CURRENTYEAR}}/{{{1}}}]] and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also change the page during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much.
If you plan to make breaking changes to this template, move it, or nominate it for deletion, please notify Twinkle's users and maintainers at Wikipedia talk:Twinkle as a courtesy, as this template is used in the standard installation of Twinkle. Thank you! |
This template should always be substituted (i.e., use {{subst:Rfd-notice}}). Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
This template is intended to be placed on a user talk page to warn the creator of or a principal changer to an article that such article has been nominated for deletion at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion by another user. Wikipedia Page History Statistics may be used to identify principal contributors to an article by number of edits.
{{subst:RFDNote|Name of nominated page(s)}}
To use, put the above code on a user's talk page; a section heading will be automatically created. The template should always be substituted so attempted replies will not modify the template page; users are encouraged to change substituted templates to suit unique circumstances. If the name of an RfD discussion differs from the name of the article nominated (in the case, for instance, of a successive or bundled nomination), you may specify a second parameter: {{subst:RFDNote|Name of nominated page|Name of RfD page}}.
Warning: Aggressive use of this template may be seen as canvassing, which is disruptive and may lead to the canvasser's being blocked.
