I have issues regarding categorising writers for example Rajiv Malhotra as members of the Sangh Parivar, does Wikipedia have similar categorisation for other organisations say "Republican" or "Conservative"? Yogesh Khandke (talk) 02:25, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am not certain about why the WikiProject banners for Discrimination, Terrorism, and Crime and Criminal Biography need to be added to this Indian politics Template. To me this seems like over-bannering, or perhaps a misunderstanding of how Templates work. I would have thought it better to add these WikiProject banners to the individual articles that use the templates if they were relevant to particular articles, not the template itself. I intend to remove these three banners if no-one objects. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 01:28, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have removed these WikiProject banners as nobody has objected and the anonymous user who added them has not responded, either, despite being asked. In the future, please explain why these banners should be added to this template article which concerns Indian Politics, as far as I can tell, not Crime, Terrorism or Discrimination. Adding such banners to this template will only include the template in the WikiProject, not the articles the template links to. While individual article might fall within the scope of a particular WikiProject, this template does not. So inclusion in an appropriate WikiProject needs to be assessed on a case by case basis for each article and whether it falls within the scope of the relevant WikiProject. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 07:20, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
