Tupaia adalah sebuah genus tupai pada famili Tupaiidae yang pertamakali dideskripsikan oleh Thomas Stamford Raffles pada 1821.[1][2] Nama dari genus ini berasal dari kata Bahasa Melayu tupai.[3]
