About me
[edit]I am a faculty in the Physics Department at Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar (IITGn). My area of expertise is in the field of Gravitational Wave Astronomy. Apart from Physics, I am also interested in reading travelogues, Hindustani classical music and poetry. Some of my favourite poets are Jibananda Das, Wislawa Szymborska and Tarapada Roy. I like the travel writings of Syed Mujtaba Ali and Bill Bryson. I enjoy listening to Ustad Rashid Khan, Kumar Gandharva, Kishori Amonkar, Vasant Rao Deshpande among others.
Where I grew up
[edit]I grew up in the city of Dhanbad and studied in De Nobili School, CMRI.
