About me

I am a fellow Wikipedian from the suburbs of South Jersey. I live in Burlington County, about 25 minutes from downtown Philadelphia. I contribute because I view this project as a public repository for free, fact-based, and impartial information. With the rationale that "knowledge is power", I interpret Wikipedia as an instrument for empowering society because truth should always be a public good.

I like to read random Wikipedia articles in my spare time and I use the project as an information resource for my studies. I currently study at Johns Hopkins University with majors in biomedical engineering (focus area in computational biology) and applied mathematics and statistics. I am also interested in computer programming—I code in Java, PHP, and JavaScript. In my free time, I enjoy watching and participating in sports along with lifting weights, and my favorite sports teams are the Philadelphia Eagles and the 76ers. Another hobby of mine is reading news publications such as the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Christian Science Monitor on a daily basis.

In addition to Wikipedia, I have been active on Commons and Wikisource.
