Hey, I'm Birdienest81, my real name is Jerry. To begin, I am a male student from California. Other than that I spend most of my time sitting around here doing not that much. My contributions tend to be doing anything I can. About 60% of my edits are in Academy Awards subjects. I do profess a "great knowledge" of the subject, as consider it to be the best television events in history. I also work on several film and sports (mainly the Olympics, Lakers, Dodgers, and Rams). I have been a Wikipedian since February 6, 2008.
I do my best, and if someone is better than me in the race, I still do not worry about him because I have done my best. If you know this, you will be always happy.
There are days you're gonna feel sad, you're gonna feel angry, you're gonna feel scared. That's nothing you can choose. But you can make stuff. Make films. Draw. Write. It'll make a world of difference.
I want people, when they realize they have been wrong about the world, to feel not embarrassment, but that childlike sense of wonder, inspiration, and curiosity that I remember from the circus, and that I still get every time I discover I have been wrong.
Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble.
I believe that all the trials and challenges that God gives us are meant to make us stronger and to lead us to a better path in life. There are things that we can't control. We just have to accept them and do our best to survive and surpass the difficulties.
It becomes just a special moment for me where I take all those thoughts...and think about that day. And at the end of the day, I put those thoughts back in my heart.
When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.
People will put restrictions on your ability, on your aptitude, on your talent, on your character, and to be honest, it's just opinion. Don't let anyone put you in a box or draw your path for you.
While we are here we should set goals and achieve them, make the best of things, make others feel good about themselves, and be happy with what we are and what we are doing.
You do what God has called you to do. You show up. You put one foot in front of another. You get on the rig and you go out and you do the job—which is a mystery. And a surprise. You have no idea when you get on that rig. No matter how big the call. No matter how small. You have no idea what God is calling you to. But he needs you. He needs me. He needs all of us.
