Q BRT (alternately called FAX Q) is a bus rapid transit service serving Fresno, California. It is owned and operated by the city-owned public transportation agency, Fresno Area Express (FAX). Q BRT currently consists of Route 1, which runs 15.7 miles on the corridors of Blackstone Avenue and Kings Canyon Road.
Description
[edit]Q BRT begins in North Fresno at Woodward Station, located at Fresno Street and Friant Road. It then goes south on Blackstone Avenue all the way into Downtown Fresno, where the line splits onto two way streets. Reaching the Fresno Station (Downtown), Q runs south on Fresno Street before turning onto Van Ness Avenue, then turns east on Ventura Avenue, which eventually continues Kings Canyon Road. It reaches its terminus at Clovis Station, located at Kings Canyon east of Clovis Avenue.
