Hello! I'm Innotata, as I've been known on Wikipedia since 2009, after the binomial name of the Madagascar pochard (Aythya innotata). Literally, the name means "unmarked" or "of little note". I'm a recent graduate in biology from the University of Minnesota, and a birder. On Wikipedia I mostly contribute to articles about birds and other animals, and add images. Take a look at my best work, below, to see what I am interested in and write about. A number of articles I've contributed to have been Did you know? articles on the Main Page, so they should be interesting. You can contact me by leaving a message on my talk page.
I was inactive for a long time because I was affected by IP address blocks and personally I suspect I may unintentionally run afoul of the rules against proxies now and get account blocked. The system in place is rather unreasonable in blocking entire major internet service providers (counting mobile providers as well), with instructions out of touch with present-day reality that assume you have control over your IP address, router, etc. Be warned that my being blocked again is a possibility and if it happens I won't be able to respond to anything on wiki.
For all your bio-related contributions and first GA on what is a pretty obscure and hard to research species. Sabine's Sunbirdtalk 21:57, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
