My name is Martin Proud. I am a graduate of Knox College with a degree in Computer Science. I am 24 years old, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.A. I am an aspiring webmaster and I am fluent in CSS, XHTML, PHP and Perl. I love graphic design, though oddly enough didn't take much of it in college. I also preach the tao of Macintosh, certainly the best computer platform around and home to an outstanding operating system, Mac OS X.

I am a pretty big Minnesota Twins baseball fan. I am also fascinated with card games, everything from poker and pinochle to TCGs.

Off and on, I work on several pet projects, one including a computer project that will read card rules text in order to play the game on the computer, but dependent only on the rules syntax so that future cards will be instantly compatible. I got re-interested in the project after learning lex and yacc.

I have revamped pages for WVKC, Knox College, created The Duelist, and of course put in many stubs and references over time.

I also created the successful Word Association page. You should play. It's a great way to find and edit new and interesting articles.
