I am a retired pharmacologist with experience in analytical, clinical and forensic toxicology. I have been writing and revising reference books in these fields since 1977. Revision of existing texts is my only professional activity currently. I use Wikipedia frequently as a means of staying current with drugs and chemicals encountered by humans. When I have noted gaps in the Wikipedia information base, I have attempted to supply relevant information from my limited sphere of knowledge. Since citations of secondary sources are encouraged and the available data in these fields has generally not been assembled by other parties, I often cite my own work. Some might consider this a conflict of interest. Please let me know.
