Hey! I joined Wikipedia in 2024 and made my first edit on the article Dad Joke! (my relish joke is still there) I actually edit amusement park and roller coaster related articles, but will occasionally edit other topics that peak my interest.

Roller Coasters

[edit]

Current Top 10 Coasters:

  1. Millennium Force (Yes, I'm very well aware that this isn't considered #1 very often, but I love it.)
  2. Steel Vengeance
  3. Fury 325
  4. Diamondback
  5. Leviathan
  6. Wildcat's Revenge
  7. Orion
  8. Thunder Striker
  9. Kingda Ka (defunct)
  10. Copperhead Strike

(Notably outside; no particular order: Maverick, SkyRush, El Toro, Storm Runner, Candymonium, Mystic Timbers, and Phoenix)

What are dummy edits good for?

A dummy edit is a slight change in an article's wikitext that has no effect on the rendered page but allows you to save a useful edit summary. This is like a SMS (Short Message Service).

To make a "dummy edit" just make a slight non-rendering change to the page, fill out the edit summary with your short message including this tag: [[WP:dummy edit]] (include the four square brackets), and save your change. (Note that a null edit does not modify the wikitext and does not allow you to leave an edit summary.)
