QUALIFICATIONS

I am an author and photographer in the field of die-cast toy cars. My book publishers are Motorbooks International (The Quarto Group) and Tomart Publications. Before retiring in 2017, my career was in the toy industry. Since I worked for Playing Mantis, RC2, and Round 2, I have first-hand knowledge about the Johnny Lightning brand and several other companies which produce die-cast toy cars. I remain active in the die-cast arena through personal appearances, online articles, and regular blog posts on Instagram and Facebook.

NOTICE OF POTENTIAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST

I was an employee of Round 2, LLC which produces several brands of die-cast cars (including Johnny Lightning) and plastic model kits. If I edit Wikipedia pages for or related to those brands it is only to correct factual errors or add helpful content. Those brands include Johnny Lightning, Racing Champions, Ertl, Auto World, American Muscle, AMT, and MPC. My intent is not to impart opinion but merely to clarify. If anyone feels like I crossed the line please contact me so that I can remove or edit my content.
