Pradeep 'The Indian Warrior' Singh Sihag (born November 21st, 1986) is an Indian boxer. When he turned 18 he turned professional, making him the first professional Indian boxer. As a professional he has won the IPBO, PABA, OPBF[1] & WBC Asian Middleweight[2] Championship Titles. Pradeep's professional record stands at won 18 (KO 9) + lost 4 (KO 2) + drawn 1[3]. His amateur record stands at 120 wins with 3 losses[4].
Born in Sisai in the state of Haryana, Pradeep is son of a former National Middleweight wrestling Champion and brother to a former National Middleweight Amateur boxing Champion[5]. As an amateur, Pradeep won the silver medal in the 2003 All India BD Chandiyala Boxing Championship and again took silver in the 2004 YMCA International Boxing Championship[6]. Pradeep fought Sam Soliman for the IBF middleweight title on September 23rd 2010[7].
