I am a native of Mudalur, Tamilnadu, now living in Chennai, India. I joined Wikipedia on November 2008. I have started my contributing with content projects English Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Tamil Wikipedia initially. The excitement of doing collaborative work in Wikimedia projects drove me to contribute in ''backstage'' projects also like MediaWiki and Toolserver. I contribute content to English Wikipedia articles mainly in movies and arts, upload images to Wikimedia Commons media repository, and write and customize Bot programs in MediaWiki. Currently completed a Python bot program for automating Picasa Google album upload to Wikimedia Commons.
I prefer sprinkling valid edits to improve and normalize the articles, clean-up vandals rather than sticking to one or group of articles. I also prefer adding copyrighted posters and fair use images [uploads] for the film articles.
I don't know how many of my photo workshop requests you've done so far, but you're clearly tireless and very much deserve one of these. Probably several of these, but you'll have to do with a single one for now. You've improved very many pages across all sorts of languages with your work. Very many thanks.
