Hello, 110.150.52.252. It looks like "Template:Cc-by-4.0" was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 06:28, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the change, consider creating an account so you won't get notices that are not for you.

Hello! Thank you for creating a new category. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles. If you think there might be more pages to add to the new category, please add them now. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 08:28, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I am MathXplore. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 2023 New South Wales state election, but you did not provide a reliable source. It has been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you want to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need help with referencing, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did to 2019 New South Wales state election, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. The content has been removed from the page for now. Please read the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and make sure to cite reliable sources if you re-add the information. Thank you. Please stop mass creating complex articles

[change source]

All of your recent election articles are too complex. They use uncommon, specialized vocabulary. The sentences are long and complex. For example 2023 New South Wales state election is far too complex. Please simplify it and others before creating any more. The complex content may be deleted. --Gotanda (talk) 21:37, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to simplify it a bit. Feel free to fix anything. 110.150.52.252 (talk) 21:46, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Look at the embedded phrases and clauses in this sentence: "The incumbent Labor government, led by Premier Daniel Andrews, won a second term in government, opposed by the Liberal/National Coalition, led by Matthew Guy, in a landslide." It is far too complex and uses a lot of passive. You need to read the wiki Help pages. Vocabulary is very complex as well.
Please do not create any more like these until you fix the previous ones. "Feel free to fix anything." is not a helpful response. Mass creation of complex articles imposes a burden on others. Make it simple yourself first. Gotanda (talk) 09:09, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I mean can you think of any words that could be simplified?
  • Incumbent is not the same as current
  • Opposed by = beating/against?
  • I already removed "consecutive"
  • Conducted = ?
Any thoughts? 110.150.52.252 (talk) 21:55, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for changing Wikipedia. We welcome all changes, but we can have only changes that are in simple English, and your new changes to "Two-party-preferred vote" were not simple. Please see Wikipedia:How to write Simple English pages so you can write more simply in the future. Thank you. MathXplore (talk) 07:14, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This is the last warning you will get for the bad pages you have made. The next time you make a bad page, you will be blocked from changing Wikipedia. Operator873 connect 00:23, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get why it was bad. Anyway, is there a way I can get archives for this talk page? I won't create the page again, I'll just continue making articles about constituencies instead like I previously was. 110.150.52.252 (talk) 00:25, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You'll notice the name of this project is Simple English Wikipedia where a limited wordlist is used to make it easy for all to understand. You'll also note the name of this project is NOT called Copy of the English Wikipedia where people copy paste articles from the English Wikipedia. Please do not copy/paste articles from the English Wikipedia and take a moment to review WP:HOW before continuing to create new pages. Operator873 connect 00:29, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not copy and pasting them directly. Sorry if they are too similar. Sometimes it's hard to used only those words; e.g if someone made an article about the wildlife of Australia they couldn't say kangaroo or koala judging by that list. Again, my constituency/electorate articles seem okay and not too complex. That's what I've mostly been doing so I'll probably just stick with that. I provide links to any complex words (e.g I can't really replace the word constituency or electoral district so I link it to the page we have here, note that the latter is a redirect to the former). Sorry for any issues with the article in question. 110.150.52.252 (talk) 00:34, 22 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
