I've started a discussion on the talk page about moving "Tim Palmer (meteorologist)" to "Tim Palmer (physicist)" as you suggest. I doubt this will be controversial but it needs to be done properly; note that the capitalization is determined by Wikipedia rules and so is not up for debate.
