Possible Conflict of Interest

This ip address, along with BrightNewMorning possibly, could hold a conflict of interest when dealing with articles relating to politician Dario Hunter. This account's first edit was on April 30th and was immediately after edits made by BrightNewMorning made on an article about one of Hunter's presidential opponents and the ip address of this account shows that this user is located in Youngstown, Ohio the same city where Hunter is a member of the board of education.

I haven't edited any articles about Dario Hunter's campaign. As such, there can't be a 'potential conflict of interest' in regards to non-existent edits. In any event, editing from an IP in the same city as a subject would not actually be a Wikipedia conflict of interest. (If it were, no one in New York City, for instance, could write about New York City politicians without being accused of a conflict of interest.) Please refer to the Wikipedia article on Conflict of Interest Wikipedia: Conflict of Interest. I understand that you're not happy with the challenges made to uncited information in the Howie Hawkins 2020 presidential campaign article. I did edit that article to note a lack of citations and in response it appears you provoked an edit war by simply reverting without adding the citations. Out of curiosity, I checked the edit history log for Howie Hawkins 2020 presidential campaign. We have a very different definition of "immediately" - the edits made by me and the user BrightNewMorning are no less than hours apart, in some cases on different days. I'm not sure why you would lie and say immediately, but I do know this - it's easier to just fix the article so that it's up to standards than pick a fight with editors.
