[edit]Hello, I'm CodeTalker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Oromo Liberation Front, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CodeTalker (talk) 15:38, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I noticed that in this edit to Oromo Liberation Front, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 11:08, 18 July 2022 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Oromo Liberation Front, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Oromo Liberation Front, you may be blocked from editing. Serols (talk) 11:21, 18 July 2022 (UTC)

- @Hut 8.5: It looks like (see Oromo Liberation Front (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)) the same user has been ranging over the 196.191.188.54/24 IP range of addresses (at least from .50 to .63). It would be a pity to block an address range from Ethiopia on this topic, though maybe blocking non-logged-in users would be enough. An alternative could be to re-protect Oromo Liberation Front, though currently there appear to be enough watchers/patrollers reverting vandalism. Boud (talk) 23:24, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Boud: thanks for letting me know, I've semiprotected the article for 3 months as this is obviously a long term problem and the previous month of protection has just expired. If you'd like a range block I'd suggest asking at WP:ANI, I don't think I have the necessary technical knowledge. Hut 8.5 07:53, 22 July 2022 (UTC)
- This user is continuing to repetitively engage in disruptive editing. Could you infinitely protect oromo liberation front so only logged in users can edit? LeenchaOromia (talk) 00:42, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Oromo Liberation Front. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 01:14, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Oromo Liberation Front, you may be blocked from editing. Yoshi24517 (Chat) (Online) 01:19, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
- Can you just ban this user? Someone else had to revert his disruptive edits an additional two more times after you already warned him 3 times. And his edits aren't simple mistakes either. To bring a simple example, he for instance is attempting to post the OLF website as www.olf.albert . Which is clearly a joke. The official website is www.oromoliberationfront.org . That is just a simple easy to understand example for somebody that is less familiar with the topic at hand. Thank you. I will tag @Tol as well just in case. This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
