I believe you are new to the website and hope you happy editing. However, i urge you to follow Wikipedia guidelines and policies mentioned in the welcoming message above. Anyone can edit but no one should deny guidelines. Please stop it or it would become treated as WP:Vandalism. Have you read by the way Talk:Mecca/Archive02#Spelling_in_title_and_within_article and Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(Islam-related_articles)#Arabic_transliteration? If not, then please do it. If yes then please stop it. Thanks. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 13:29, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling and style edits

[edit]

Hello - you've now reverted the spelling of Mecca a few times at the Saudi Arabia article. Please be aware that the issue was discussed extensively and a consensus reached, as User:FayssalF mentions above. If you'd like to change it, please discuss your concerns on the article talk page. Repeatedly inserting the same controversial edit without discussion is not the way to go. Please discuss things on the talk page; if you continue changing the spelling against the previous consensus without discussing it, you may be blocked temporarily from editing. Orphaned non-free media (Image:الكعبه.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:الكعبه.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:30, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
