Album/film titles
[edit]Hi, I noticed you just made some formatting changes to the headings of a couple of articles. Standard practice is to italicize names of major works like albums or films, so the headings should really be in italics. You can find the guidelines for things like italics and quotation marks at Wikipedia:Manual of Style (titles). Just thought I should let you know before you get too involved with changing them. Thanks. - N (talk) 07:18, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
Removing stub templates
[edit]Hi, I noticed you have been removing stub templates from a few articles, such as BK Häcken and FC Rànger's. I am not sure that is a very good idea since those articles still are stubs, despite maybe a table and some short lists. I suggest you read WP:STUB, which amongst other things says that "To qualify as a stub it must at least define the meaning of the article's title. Often that means three to ten short sentences, but less text may be sufficient to qualify as a stub for articles on narrow topics, and complicated topics with more than ten sentences may still be stubs." The BK Häcken article for example, is two short sentences, a squadlist, a noted players list and an achievements list. It has a long way to go before it could be considered not a stub. This is not a great concern, but stub categorisation may actually help us, but removing stub templates before the article is de-stubbed does not. I would suggest you increase the threshold for removing stub templates significantly, and take into consideration not only the length of the article but also the amount of actual prose in it. Proposed deletion of Liverpool Waters
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Liverpool Waters, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Proposed deletion of Barwa Tower
[edit]The article Barwa Tower has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- According to the fairly reliable skyscraperpage, the project has been cancelled [1].
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pichpich (talk) 18:31, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
