I remembered uploading this image a couple of months ago because it reminded me of the old Flower Class Corvettes of WW2. File:USCGC Gentian breaks ice on the Potomac River.jpg I added it to the USCGC Gentian article you recently started.

I took the liberty of changing your lead sentence a bit. The convention is, that the title of the article should be put in to the first sentence, if possible. And it should be in bold. If the title is a ship, the ship's name should also be in italics. Our convention is that vessels, and newspapers, should always be in italics.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in USCGC Clover (WLB-292), makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 22:01, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
