Editing in progressNow that you have left these messages and can see why it appears that I am vandalizing the Draft:Alfred Clement Stewart page. What I did was copy and paste the HTML from Thomas Edison's wiki page. I just wanted to see the correct way to format. What you saw as vandalizing was actually me erasing the Thomas Edison information and replacing it with the correct Alfred Clement Stewart information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cerastez (talk • contribs) 18:54, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Reason for change to pageI made the change because that website no longer uses SoccerCleats101 as a "voice." They now have their own, fully-functioning blog. Jimmy SpencerThis footballer seems to be known by the name 'Jimmy' rather than 'James' (see news article on Cambridge United FC website who have just signed him [1]. Is this not the way that commonly known as is shown? Also you appear to have reverted entries that were properly cited. He is now under contract at Cambridge United and played this afternoon. Tech news prepared by tech ambassadors and posted by bot • Contribute • Translate • Get help • Give feedback • Subscribe or unsubscribe. 7 more days to create or expand articlesHello, thanks a lot for participating in Geographical Indications in India Edit-a-thon. We understand that perhaps 7 days (i.e. 25 January to 31 January) were not sufficient to write on a topic like this, and/or you may need some more time to create/improve articles, so let's extend this event for a few more days. The edit-a-thon will continue till 10 February 2016 and that means you have got 7 more days to create or expand articles (or imprpove the articles you have already created or expanded).
The rules remain unchanged. Please report your created or expanded articles.
Editors, who have not joined this edit-a-thon, may also join now.
Reviewing of all articles should be done before the end of this month (i.e. February 2016). We'll keep you informed. You may also check the event page for more details.
A special barnstar will be given to all the participants who will create or expand articles during this edit-a-thon. The editors, who will perform exceptionally well, may be given an Indic Geographical Indication product or object. However, please note, nothing other than the barnstar has been finalized or guaranteed. We'll keep you informed.
Feel free to ask question(s) here. -- User:Titodutta (talk) sent using MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 11:08, 2 February 2016 (UTC) Dear Captain Raju, I was updating her page - all of the information is accurate. Not sure why it was deleted. This information was pulled from her formal bio. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by TinaBrownMedia (talk • contribs) 19:19, 2 February 2016 (UTC) Welcome to Milhist!Hello and welcome to the Military history WikiProject! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to military history. A few features that you might find helpful:
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask any of the project coordinators or any other experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome, and we are looking forward to seeing you around! Peacemaker67 (click to talk to me) 23:21, 2 February 2016 (UTC) Careful with your revert button. Not only was that edit you reverted not vandalism, the editor left a perfectly valid edit summary explaining why the edit was made. AIDS is indeed an acronym, and the editor was correct to change "Aids" to "AIDS". Meters (talk) 22:55, 3 February 2016 (UTC) Racket (crime) CorrectionThe change I made to the "Racket (Crime)" page was correcting a word. The article used "where in" as two words. In the context of the sentence, it is more correct to use the word "wherein." I noticed this edit, which claims to be "clean up". However, it's not cleaning up anything. Please note that the AWB rules include "Do not make insignificant or inconsequential edits". Please bear this in mind. Do not mark your edits as 'minor' when you tag articlesHi Captain, I noted that you are using AWB to tag lots of articles. All these edits are marked as minor, but they are not! Please read WP:ME for guidance on what to tag as minor edits. Many people do not follow up on minor edits, and won't be able to see that you tagged articles on their watchlist. Thank you, --Lemnaminor (talk) 00:23, 6 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi, I am the initial editor of Mircea Itul page, which is now under the name Mircea Itu. I've corrected some mistakes in [Biruitorul]'s revision. Please see the initial text that I created, out of which all the citations, references, selected works and external links have been inexplicably removed. 1. Iustina, Mircea Itul's mother is alive. There are no documents attesting that she deceased. Iustina is a Romanian teacher, not professor. 2. born instead of née 3. His Ph.D. was at University of Paris, Sorbonne, École pratique des hautes études. 4. He worked from 1998 up to 2013 at the Romanian Academy, the Institute of Philosophy and Psychology and not a scientific researcher, but as CS1, which is the top ranking scholar in the institutes of the Romanian Academy. 5. He was professor at University of Bucharest and at Spiru Haret University up to 2009 and not 2003. 6. The book is called Eliadiana and not Elidiana. 7. The Institute from Agra is called The Central Institute of Hindi. 8. All the citations, references, selected works and external links were deleted. I, as the editor of Mircea Itul's (pen name Mircea Itu) page proved that he is an Indologist, Historian of Religions and Eliadologist with references, which in my view should remain, because they reflect the areas of contributions of this person. I admit that not all my text should be published, but the parts removed by [Birutiorul] from my initial edit uploaded today reflect the reality about Itul. [Biruitorul] has made helpful trimming, but there is more additional information available which should be included and some corrections to be done. ThanksThanks for the welcome! GamerNintendo (talk) 17:36, 9 February 2016 (UTC) Manju Warrier's age is given wrongA year ago, Manju Warrier's year of birth was given as 1979. Today when I see, it is 1978. Is it going to be 1976 next year? On what basis are you updating like this? The malayalamanorama link you have given next to the age is not working. So what is your explaination. So back when it was given as 1979, Manju Warried said in her facebook live chat is that she's younger than what is given on Wiki page. That means it must be 1980. As for September 10, it is correct. Don't malign our favorite actress. Update it with correct year. Else if you are posting it as 1978, show enough proof!
A barnstar for you!

Connor McDavid changeHello The current location of the York-Simcoe Express hockey club is Aurora, Ontario. This is only as of 2015. When McDavid played they did not have a home rink, and played their home games all over York and Simcoe Regions, north of Toronto. I replaced this with the standing - rating of the York-Simcoe Express, a triple "A" rated team (AAA) which is the highest level of minor hockey available in Canada. I believe this is an important fact as it demonstrates the level at which this under-aged player was at. A player performing above his age level is impressive, but to be doing it at the highest competitive level available is noteworthy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.143.24.202 (talk) 16:50, 10 February 2016 (UTC) |
