Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 05:06, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
Hi, there. Welcome to Wikipedia!
I'm sorry about the photos confusion. Unfortunately, we have to comply with a lot of country's copyright laws. Thus, our process is a little confusing. Wikipedia:Uploading images and Wikipedia:Picture tutorial both have very good information about uploading an image and adding it to an article. If you need any additional help, you can visit our live chat any time: just click here and enter a nickname.
Because you signed up, you are an editor! Congratulations! Please, use the edit link at the top of any page to make changes. If you'd like to make your own article about a subject that isn't covered in Wikipedia, go ahead and visit our article wizard. If you make any changes, we encourage you to add reliable sources to articles, so that other editors can double check the facts.
Again, welcome aboard. If you have any other questions, go ahead and drop me a line at my talk page and I will reply.

Being a New Editor
[edit]Hey there. I saw recently that you took a little flak on the NPOV:Ugg boo section about being a meatpuppet. Please do not take this the wrong way or hold a grudge against anyone for saying this. The best thing to do is to take the high road. Read this section about common reactions to newcomers WP:DNB, trust me it will help. Be bold but remember to be open to other people's perspectives and be courteous at all times. There is a fair share of bad blood regarding this page and it can be intimidating. Just stay polite and positive and remember that Wikipedia can be a really positive experience if you give it a chance.--Factchk (talk) 20:33, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
Thank you for the encouragement, Factchk. I believe all opinions have value, no matter who is stating them. To me, the issue is quite solvable. The problem comes in having too many pages that discuss the same basic concept. That gets too confusing for someone trying to discover the facts and background of the topic. Also, there should not be multiple articles that "appear" to be leading to the same information, when in all actuality they are talking about something different (Brand and generic). Just my opinion.
I am just learning the term, "meatpuppet." Is that something that refers to ONE person having MORE THAN ONE account and trying to represent multiple opinions to sway decision-making? Of course, THAT would be totally inappropriate.
