I removed your addition of 2-coloring as an application of 2-satisfiability, because it was unsourced. But also, it is not really an application. It is a much easier special case. So regardless of sourcing, it does not belong to the part of the article where you added it. —David Eppstein (talk) 21:37, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Math formatting

[edit]

Hi! I saw you changed formatting of mathematical formulas on several formal language articles. When I started editing Wikipedia, I did similar work, most of which, however, turned out to be a waste of time. There is no consensus about which formatting should be used (see MOS:FORMULA), so some articles are changed back and forth during the years. Today, I change formatting only to obtain a unique style throughout a section or article (For example, "Define f(x) = x2 ... Using , one obtains ..." is clearly inferior to "Define ... Using , one obtains ..."). I just want to let you know my experience. Best regards - Jochen Burghardt (talk) 12:00, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:04, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
