Images in Laarni Losala

Hi Eduhello, I've deleted both of the images you uploaded for this article as they appear clearly to be screenshots of a television program rather than original works you took with a camera directly. If you disagree please drop me a note on my talk page. Note that we cannot accept TV screenshots or photos from other websites uploaded here, except under a very very restricted set of circumstances - Peripitus (Talk) 22:00, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

NO, those pictures were not from the TV, they were took directly from both PWU contest. One is campus idol and the other is Lights of A Million Morning she sang while on a party. And there is not the usual icon for television networks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Eduhello (talkcontribs) 10:33, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Did you take the photographs, with your camera, then or did someone else ? - Peripitus (Talk) 12:35, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
With someone else, i already asked for the permission from a user named dekloy. - Eduhello (talk) 12:42, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
What the other user will need to do is both provide authorisation to use the images via e-mail permissions-en@wikimedia.org, and ensure that in the email they use the type of information in Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries. The receivers of the email (see WP:OTRS) will then be able to restore and tag the images appropriately. Best regards - 12:08, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

References & Sources

Can we use wikipedia as a reference? Or youtube perhaps?Eduhello (talk) 05:42, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

No and almost certainly not. Wikipedia is, for wikipedia articles, not a third-party source and cannot be used. For youtube, the discussions here and here may be useful. In general Youtube is not regarded as a reliable source—we don't know the source, it's not reviewed by anyone, deriving information from the posted videos is usually original research and it's a self-published source - Peripitus (Talk) 04:39, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Eduhello, all of Wikipedia is supposed to cite reliable sources, so what you can do is use the relevant sources from the other Wikipedia article. --Una Smith (talk) 02:02, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
What if the refernce is something like this:[1] [2] [3]
This is a blog reference but can we make an exception out of this? After all the picture is taken from the show or an affiliate of the show itself.Happy Editing! (talk) 10:29, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
The original source here is a broadcast TV program? You can cite that, if what you are citing is about the program itself. Program name and date, or series name and episode. If the fact you are citing is not demonstrable in the TV program itself, but the TV program claims a fact without a source (eg, a TV news program about medical news published elsewhere) then you need to locate whatever reliable source the TV program used, and cite that. --Una Smith (talk) 13:37, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Pinoy Dream Academy (season 1) you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 7 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. Cirt (talk) 22:38, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
