The article Spark (fire) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

nothing but a dictionary definition, not needed in an encyclopedia, and seems unlikely to be capable of being expanded into an encyclopedic article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD (talk) 14:55, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spark etc

[edit]

Please take care when moving pages. You moved a well-established disambiguation page from Spark to Spark (Disambiguation), and created a short stub at Spark to replace the redirect which was automatically created. You did not add any link to the dab page, which itself was incorrectly named (lower case "d" needed for "disambiguation"). As you had left it, no-one would have been able to find the dab page. I have renamed your stub article, and put in process the moving of the dab page back to where it was before. Please don't make major moves like this without discussion and great care. Decline reason:

You haven't been blocked directly, so we need to know the exact message you see when you try to edit before we can help you. This kind of thing happens quite often, but we need more information so we can figure out what the block is before we can lift it. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I cannot locate a block on either your username or your IP. If you still cannot edit please post here the exact wording in the block message you are seeing. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 11:00, 9 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
