Kent article

[edit]

Hi. I reverted your change last night and meant to write a more detailed edit summary but hit the send button instead! My point is that the detail in the Kent article is well established - it must date back more than five years (without checking). There is no style guide for cricket club articles - I recall asking about this years ago and being told that it was better to deal with each article as it goes. Fwiw I think I probably used the style guide at WP:FOOTY to establish the shell of the article. I'd argue that other county club articles should be more like the Kent one - prose, sub-articles, fewer lists and tables etc... But, anyway - thought I should expand on my thinking a bit. From having taken a quick look at the other 17 fc county articles there's a lot of work needs doing on most of them... Blue Square Thing (talk) 18:05, 1 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the reply, there really should be a style guide for this sort of thing I quite agree. Most counties - and indeed teams that aren't in the IPL - need a lot of work on their pages. It would be nice if there was a proper template etc but oh well. I personally find the Kent one a little clunky, but given it dates back five years it makes sense to keep it as is. Thanks for the message and hope you have a good day :) Follyshipment (talk) 11:20, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
