Why did you blank most of the article? --Deepfriedokra (talk) 13:15, 23 July 2020 (UTC)
@Deepfriedokra: Hello there. This was an accident when using the 'undo' button. This also occurred when editing a draft article I created, Ali Keda. In both instances, pressing 'undo' to undo the undo did not work. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Ghazi Malik (talk) 16:14, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ottoman Empire; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 13:20, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, I am sorry for reverting your edit on Ibn Karram. I think you misunderstood the meaning of the "hellfire preacher". This is why I have created an article that clarifies this topic. Anyway, take care and happy editing!--TheEagle107 (talk) 18:38, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message
[edit]ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 29 November 2022 (UTC)
Hey man, I noticed that you reverted that guy who vandalised the page, thanks for that. I also noticed looking through your contributions and at the guy who you reverted that you hadn't given a notice to them when you reverted that vandalism. This is a helpful way to notify other editors that someone has been warned for something similar in the past.
While you can use the page I linked above to manually apply notices, you can also use a helpful program called Twinkle. Twinkle has a lot of neat functions in one, such as warning, welcoming, reverting for both good and bad faith and quicker ways to escalate incidents, while also having more page related goodies like tagging pages with maintenance templates, requesting protection for pages or speedy deletion/other deletion methods. It's well worth looking into if you're interested. CommissarDoggoTalk? 11:36, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
Notification: Syrian Civil war and ISIL
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in the Syrian Civil War and ISIL. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Syrian Salvation Government did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 17:15, 5 December 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for December 22
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nisba. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
