Warning
[edit]Your comments on Talk:Jack Thompson (attorney) were removed. It's unacceptable to say such things about a living person without very solid, convincing evidence. Please be more careful and respectful in the future. --ElKevbo 21:44, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
sorry i really didnt mean that. i was just really angry at the way he was prejudiced against islam as a religion because of the way it has been portryaed in the media. anyway i thought we could show our opinions in the talk page. again, accept my apoligies. (Gooly 21:52, 11 June 2007 (UTC))
- No problem - Thompson does tend to stir up emotions among his supporters and detractors. But we're pretty protective of biographies of living persons and their Talk pages. We're very sensitive that we're discussing living, breathing, feeling human beings so we must be very careful that we are well-supported when we say contentious things about them.
- Please let me know if I can help you in the future. Welcome to Wikipedia and happy editing! --ElKevbo 21:56, 11 June 2007 (UTC)
aol ip blocks
[edit]By the way: i keep geting warnings for vandalism; is it normal for this to happen to aol users? (Gooly 16:13, 12 June 2007 (UTC))
- I was about to say yes, and link you to this page, but it turns out that the AOL problem no longer exists.
- I know that other ISPs (such as mine) tend to cycle through IP addresses, but if you're on AOL, that shouldn't be a problem.
- Perhaps my recommendation for you would be to make sure that you stay always logged in to Wikipedia on your private computer, and just ignore any irrelevant messages you might get on public computers. :) --Dreaded Walrus t c 17:02, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 19:44, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
